Raritan Paragon
Paragon represents a major advancement in KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch technology and performance. Paragon is an intelligent, modular server management system, that enables 8 simultaneous users to access and control 32 computers (expandable to 32 users and 2,048 computers). Since access to computers is via the keyboard, video, and mouse ports, there is no impact on network or server operation.
Paragon is designed to eliminate the cost and clutter of unnecessary equipment, reclaim space, and improve operational productivity for the most demanding, large-scale server environment.
Paragon introduces innovative features that deliver a new level of convenience, reliability, and expandability for multi-platform server management. Paragon components are plug and play, and are connected using single Category 5e UTP cable at distances up to 1,000 feet. Paragon's database can be maintained offline providing simplified system administration.
It's intelligent, on-screen user interface (OSUI) and multi-level security options make operation simple and safe. Paragon's unique design provides keep-alive keyboard/mouse emulation with dedicated processors, fail-safe KVM access to each server, and hot-swappable components. The result is the ultimate in ease of use, reliability, and server availability.
